I’ve just found out that Ray Bradbury died yesterday. I have strong memories of watching the TV series of Martian Chronicles with my Granddad when I was a kid and that is what Mars is like in my imagination. I still have hopes of one day living by a canal on Mars, hitching rides on sand ships and meeting ghosts of Martians in old, abandoned temples. The book is still one of my favourites.
